<p><strong>Scope and Content:</strong></p>
<p>This collection consists of 9 colour photographs documenting an open-air Mass held at the Pole Field in Blackpool, Cork.</p>
<p>The Mass, conducted by a missionary priest, was organised to raise awareness of the accommodation issues faced by the Traveller community at this unofficial campsite.</p>
<p>The Pole Field had been used by Travellers as a campsite on and off for many years and is now the site of the Blackpool Shopping Centre.</p>
