Description
Part two of a series of four radio programmes documenting the Barrel-top Project, in which a life-size Barrel-top Wagon was made during Cork’s tenure as European Capital of Culture (2005). The series includes interviews with members of the Cork Traveller Women’s Network, the Wagon Builder John Carroll and older members of the community, and contributions from the Spring Lane Young Traveller Girls’ Group.
The series was funded by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, and broadcast on Cork Campus Radio in 2011.
The series was produced by Cliona O’Carroll.
