This film presents a unique look into a rarely seen, and slowly vanishing, part of the contemporary Traveller lifestyle – the racing and husbandry of horses by the boys and men of the Spring Lane halting site. Directed by Noel Twomey, "Tales of the Road" was produced for Cork Community Television with the assistance of the Traveller Visibility Group and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.
